Local STEM Event

Hosting our first event at the Olalla Grange Hall on March 23d, 2024 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Limited to 150 - all invited - geared towards 5th-8th grade

Will provide an overview of 3D modeling, in particular how to build the chassis, body and cab of a truck.  This includes details to consider when building a motorized vehicle

While provide an overview on what to consider when using a 3D printer, as well as:

-  Converting a 3D model to a 3D printable files

-  Troubleshooting 3D printing

-  Demo the 3D printing process

-  Types of 3D printers and next Steps

While part of the design phase for 3D model, will provide an overview of incorporating motors , servos, and sensors to your 3D printed model

Will provide an overview of how to write the necessary code to control your animated model, as well as tips, tricks, and references for further reading.

Will also provide demonstrations of each type of animation.

Lots of time is spent testing and fine tuning the animations of your printed 3D model. We will review and provide insight to streamline this time consuming venture.
